About Existing and Proposed Transmission Network in Goa: In 2015, the Ministry of Power, envisaged the Goa Tamnar Transmission Project Limited (GTTPL) to create an additional source of power for Goa. and provide a new 400 kV substation in South Goa interconnecting with the Inter State Transmission System. This project is spread across the state of Goa, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh and passes through the heavy dense forest of the Western Ghats in Goa & Karnataka.

Building the Narrative: "Our efforts focused on: Shaping the narrative at local and state levels. Ensuring news coverage reached key administrative decision-makers with the support of channels like TV9 and NewsX. Networking with government, administration, and community leaders. Addressing misinformation and building grassroots support through WhatsApp campaigns involving local leaders. Religious Matth testimonials, and video campaigns. On-ground deployment of senior resources to ensure alignment.

Addressing Key Issues : We tackled concerns through: Press coverage and strategic engagement. Meetings with MLA and other stakeholders. Engaging local leaders and addressing agricultural concerns by collaborating with institutes to resolve misinformation about the project's impact on farming.

Micro Outreach Efforts : We conducted hyperlocal campaigns using media channels and grassroots initiatives to connect with communities and ensure the message was well-received Media content was shared through WhatsApp, reaching over 11,072 individuals in Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada. This localized approach amplified our reach and resonance

Stakeholder Engagement : We shared project details, addressed concerns, and built strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining their support and commitment for continued engagement.
